A New Group Exhibition: “White Cube”

A total of 18 works by 10 valuable artists are waiting for the visits of art lovers under the name “Art Project: White Cube Istanbul Project” at MAJİ Art Gallery in Şişli, Istanbul. Works produced in the contemporary art discipline prepared for the Art Project are exhibited at the White Cube Salon for the first time. Among the artists participating in the exhibition, there are important names such as Adviye Bal, Sare Aldemir, Tuğçe İnan. “Hidden Stories” Exhibition by Sinan Polvan

Artist Sinan Polvan’s “Hidden Stories” exhibition was opened to art lovers on April 25 at Muse Contemporary Art Gallery in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. Artist Sinan Polvan, who is interested in painting and sculpture, also stands out with his academician, architect and designer identities. More than forty works of Sinan Polvan, who has made a name for himself in art circles with his career and art works, created using various media, are waiting for you at the Muse Contemporary Art Gallery. Serdar Acar: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

Located in Beyoğlu, Pi Artworks presents Serdar Acar’s first solo exhibition “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” to art lovers. The name of the exhibition comes from the play by William Shakespeare. Serdar Acar; In his exhibition, he deals with loneliness, loss, love, childhood, destiny, dreams and madness. Lara Ögel: “The Starry Sky Above Me and Within Me”

Lara Ögel’s exhibition “The Starry Sky Above Me and Inside Me” is held at Beyoğlu Galerist, curated by Naz Cuguoğlu. The exhibition bears traces of artist Ögel’s admiration for the cosmos, mushrooms, alchemy and other fluid narratives. Ayşen Urfalıoğlu: “GUK”

The “GUK” exhibition, named after the initials of the words transience, volatility and smell, brings together the unique works of artist Ayşen Urfalıoğlu with art lovers. The exhibition, held at Maçka Art Gallery, will continue to welcome its visitors until 19:00 on Saturday, May 27, 2023. You can visit the exhibition of the artist, who evaluates science and art in a completely different utopia, every day between 12.00 – 19.00, except Sunday and Monday.

 

Mehmet Yılmaz: “Post-Portre”

The “Post-Portrait” exhibition is based on artist Mehmet Yılmaz’s question, “What would Leonardo da Vinci’s reaction be if he saw the current art environment, current products and imaging techniques through a time travel with his perception and tendency in his own time?” It consists of a combination of the works he created based on the question. The exhibition, in which we witness the creation of a video-centered series, also reveals an interdisciplinary integrity.
