The exhibition bears traces of artist Ögel’s admiration for the cosmos, mushrooms, alchemy and other fluid narratives. Mehmet Yılmaz: “Post-Portre”
The “Post-Portrait” exhibition is based on artist Mehmet Yılmaz’s question, “What would Leonardo da Vinci’s reaction be if he saw the current art environment, current products and imaging techniques through a time travel with his perception and tendency in his own time?” It consists of a combination of the works he created based on the question. The exhibition, in which we witness the creation of a video-centered series, also reveals an interdisciplinary integrity.
